What this documentation covers
This site is the operational documentation for Shhhs. It is separate from the commercial site and focuses on how to use, integrate, and operate the product safely.
- User workflows for sending, requesting, and chatting around secrets
- Developer references for API, CLI, MCP, and event notifications
- Operations guides for safe local input, retention, and incident posture
- Trust boundaries for crypto, metadata, support, and Cloudflare protection
Documentation safety rule
Examples use fake values only. Do not paste account tokens, API keys, recovery codes, passphrases, OTPs, private room links, or complete secret URLs into examples, tickets, prompts, screenshots, logs, or support messages.
- Use placeholders such as shhhs_test_xxx
- Never include URL fragments in support material
- Never include live API keys or recovery codes
